Bauer has an extensive performing background which includes five years of All-County Orchestra Festivals, Area-All State Symphony Orchestra and several highly selective summer orchestra camps. Bauer plays in the Queensbury High School Sinfonietta Orchestra, under the direction of Gregory Verheyn and is also a member of the Chamber Orchestra. The experience culminates in performances of the finest student musicians in New York State at the prestigious Eastman Theater.īauer, who is a senior, has been playing the double bass for seven years. She will be representing Queensbury at the conference in Rochester this Thursday through Sunday.
